Are'apostles - Junior Youth Group
The purpose of this ministry is to provide an environment for fellowship, community service and spiritual growth for the junior youth of our parish. The ministry is open to all students entering 6th grade. Participation must end whenever a student becomes 15 years of age, or beginning the 9th grade at school, whichever comes first. This group meets twice monthly following the Youth Masses in the Fr. DeMaria Activity Center on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. KFC members participate in many different activities such as: bowling, ice skating, roller skating and dances. Spiritually enriching activities include an annual retreat. Many community service activities are also part of this ministry. Previous include helping with Family Day, face painting at the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and helping in parish work days.
